Volunteer in
Indonesian Rainforest Restoration

Work with nature. Not just visit it.

Join hands-on rainforest restoration projects in Indonesia and experience what it means to contribute alongside local communities and real ecosystems.

Indonesia is home to some of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world.

From tropical rainforests to complex agroforestry systems, these landscapes are essential for biodiversity, climate stability, and local livelihoods.

Through Restore the Legacy, you can contribute directly to real rainforest restoration projects in Indonesia.

Working in the field, learning from local communities, and becoming part of ecosystems that are actively recovering.

Borneo

Borneo offers some of the most powerful restoration landscapes in Indonesia: Remote, biodiverse, and deeply connected to long-term ecosystem recovery.

At this stage, our projects in Borneo are still developing in terms of accessibility and logistics. We are currently working on creating safe and well-structured experiences.

For now:

  • We cannot guarantee standard volunteer programs yet

  • Locations are remote and require careful preparation

If you are an experienced traveller or a true adventurer determined to contribute in Borneo, feel free to reach out to us personally.

We’re happy to explore what might be possible together.
