Volunteering

Work with nature. Not just visit it.

Join real rainforest restoration efforts in Indonesia and experience what it means to contribute, hands-on, alongside local communities.

This is not traditional volunteering.

You won’t be standing on the side watching.
And you won’t be planting a few trees for a photo.

You become part of real, ongoing restoration work in Indonesia.

Working with nature. Working with people.
And contributing to ecosystems that are actively recovering.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Depending on your interests and the needs of the project, we shape the day together.
You can choose to focus on one area, or combine activities.

Reforestation &
ecosystem monitoring

Sample taking

Step into the role of a field researcher for a day.

You’ll learn how we track the health of a recovering rainforest: from soil quality to biodiversity.

Together with our local team, you’ll take simple samples, observe plant growth, and understand what actually defines a “healthy” ecosystem.

This is where restoration becomes visible, measurable, and real.

Forest clean-up &
ecosystem protection

Forest clean-up

Explore the forest while actively protecting it.

In this activity, you help remove waste from vulnerable areas and prevent further damage to developing ecosystems. Along the way, you’ll learn how pollution affects soil, water systems, and wildlife. And why protecting existing forest is just as important as restoring it.

A hands-on experience with immediate, visible impact.

Nursery, compost &
seedling care

Get your hands in the soil.
Where every forest begins.

Work alongside our team to prepare soil, create organic compost, and care for young seedlings that will later become part of the rainforest.

You’ll learn how nutrients, moisture, and daily care determine whether a tree survives and thrives in its early stages.

This is where restoration starts.

What this experience is

This is an opportunity to step into real rainforest restoration work in Indonesia.

Not as an observer, but as part of the process.

Everything you do is connected to ongoing projects.

Supporting ecosystems that are actively recovering,
together with the people who live and work with the land.
