Our Bali projects
In Bali, restoration is part of daily life.

Our work is rooted in the land and the people who live with it.
Growing forests, restoring soil, and building systems that allow ecosystems to recover naturally.
It’s a place where you can see, feel, and be part of the process.
Where restoration isn’t an idea, but something that happens every day.

Coffee the way it was meant to be
In Bali, we are transforming conventional coffee plantations into biodiverse rainforest systems. Where coffee grows as part of a living ecosystem.

Today, these landscapes are reforested until about 60% of rainforest density:, restoring native species, soil health, and biodiversity.

And the difference is something you can taste.

Working with nature instead of against it, the coffee develops more complexity and reaches specialty-grade quality, supported by cupping reports for those who want to explore further.
Young farmers reforestation program
Restoring forests starts with the next generation.

In Bali, fewer young people are choosing farming, while only a small number of experienced farmers remain who still know how to work with the land.

Yet these farmers are essential: restoring ecosystems and supporting the island’s food systems.
Through this program, we reconnect young people with the land, sharing knowledge on how to regenerate rainforest systems and farm in balance with nature.

Because farming, in its true form, is not something to leave behind.
It’s something to be proud of.

Spring restoration
Sometimes, restoring a forest starts underground.

In one of our areas, a natural spring was buried under more than 3 meters of mud, blocking the water flow the ecosystem depends on.

We cleared it, layer by layer, until the spring was freed.

And the forest responded immediately.
Water started flowing again, and within just 3 days, we saw visible improvements in plant health.

Because in a rainforest, water is everything.

Restore the flow, and the system starts to restore itself.
Community-Based Agroforestry
We don’t restore forests without the people who live in them.

Together with more than 52 local farmer-families in Bali, we develop agroforestry systems that regenerate land while creating sustainable livelihoods.

By combining native species with productive crops, we restore soil health, improve water retention, and build systems that can sustain both ecosystems and communities, long into the future.

Bali Nursery
Every forest starts small.

In our nursery, we cultivate over 10,000 seedlings per year, across more than 20 native species, each selected to support biodiversity, soil recovery, and long-term ecosystem resilience.

But this is not just about growing trees. It’s about rebuilding the foundation of entire ecosystems, one layer at a time.

At the same time, local community members are actively involved: learning, working, and growing alongside the forest.
Soil & Biodiversity Monitoring
If you don’t measure it, you don’t understand it.

Across our projects, we collect and analyse soil samples, monitor biomass growth, and track biodiversity indicators. Building a growing dataset that reflects how ecosystems recover over time.

This includes annual sampling, field measurements, and integration with satellite data to validate changes on a larger scale.

Because real impact is not assumed, it is measured.

Waste & Circular Systems
Restoration is not only about what you grow, but also about what you remove.

In our project areas, we actively collect waste from sensitive ecosystems and convert organic material into compost, feeding new growth and improving soil quality.

This closes the loop: turning waste into a resource, and reducing pressure on the ecosystems we are restoring.

100% organic (yes, even our animals eat 100% organic)
